Public Speaking

Book Ashley to speak at your next Conference, Workshop, or Event!

Speaking topics include:

- personal branding

Your personal brand is how you communicate who you are to the world. We'll discover how to best articulate your strengths online and offline, identify ways to cultivate your professional reputation, learn techniques to grow and activate your network, and go over guidelines for acceptable online behavior. Personal branding is all about showcasing your gifts and talents to the world.

- community building techniques

I teach people how to connect and celebrate groups of individuals with common interests. We'll cover techniques used to rally folks around a product, service, individual, or important cause. Once people join communities, I use digital tools and communication techniques to build and maintain relationships with them. At the core, your focus should be on retaining members. There is no better way to recruit new members than to keep current ones happy – bragging – and involved. Note: communities can also be interpreted as fan bases, customer bases, client leads, etc.

- networking best practices and appropriate behaviors (on- and offline)

To many networking is a very intimidating process. If you have questions about navigating small talk and hesitate when it's time to follow-up then this session is for you! I'd love to share tips and templates with audience members as I teach them how to uncover networking opportunities that support their pursuit of personal and professional goals. Networking truly is the secret to my success so expect real examples of how you can convert contacts into job opportunities, clients, references, etc.

- Leadership and Professionalism for Young Women in the 21st Century Workforce

I love empowering young men and (especially) women to live their best lives. In an inspiring presentation about goal setting, perseverance, and time management you can expect audience members to leave feeling hopeful about their future instead of concerned. With young people I like to uncover the resources that are available in their network, teach them how structuring their time impacts the outcomes of their actions, and inspire them to dream big without being limited by fear or lack of resources/information. I was a first generation college student and understand first hand the set-backs insecurities and  uncertainty can cause.
